  @scott you (maybe not you as an individual) said it last round. This is just coping or head in sand …. And I find it from the perspective of a European as “what did you (again, not you as an individual but as a country) expect when voting for Hitler?” We did this 80 some years ago, my grand parents had to fight those wars and my uncles and aunts got sent to the gulags and chambers. Ukraine is repeating the history. @danwentzel

  @amszmidt @danwentzel right. Sounds like I’m your strawman for some of your feelings about the US right now, I get it but don’t super appreciate it. I could defend what I have done and my family history dealing with Nazis but that would be me personally, not the strawman you are attacking.

  @scott And kudos, seriously .. for taking the comment so well. I got plenty of friends who cannot speak up about the current state of things in the US ... they are all pacified, given up, or something in-between.
  It might be a thing that makes me most angry, people (seem) to not voice their frustration enough from the Dem side. It is all timid ... Dunno how to stuff it in a toot.
