     Jack has room to criticize that post of mine to be honest except what I was suggesting was not to make the people already concerned about climate change so fearful that they shut down and stop trying like the doomers do.

     What I was thinking about was to pay to put accurate climate messaging into the rightwing information bubbles I suppose.

     Regardless, my post was probably ill-conceived reflecting my post-election coping or something.

     ...course, IMO we will see +2.5°C within the next couple of years.

     I haven't seen further updates from the veteran climate researcher, @andrewdessler , since last year. He presented preliminary scientific evidence that 👉 #GlobalWarming was, in fact *still accelerating.*👈
     IMO, given #Trump's anti-climate agenda and the relative size of the #US economy internationally, average temperages are going to increase...

     So, it depends on everyone's definition of "doom," I'd say the combination of the increased CO2 emissions and the #OrangePeril and a #MAGtInfested #WhiteHouse gets us pretty close, don't you think?

     For starters, to avoid the paralysis phase, I stopped calling it the #ClimateCatastrophe. I now just call it the #ClimateCrisis, which sounds more actionable.
