     @EvolLove @ned the half decent ones definitely do work. The only ones that don't are those Chinese pieces of shit emitting constant tone. Apparently them pests just get used to it like you get used to computer fan noise or something and they filter it out just like we do.

     I have something like that, dffferent brand. Against rats. It really works.

     Without them rats just keeps invading and eating pipes and wiring.

     @ned pattler makes pretty good ones. Good ol German anti-pest tech. I have the model on the pic. They were less than 30 euros shipped. If you can find them in the States, they're definitely worth considering. That being said tho, you don't want them installed in bedroom or anything like that, because they're not entirely outside of human hearing range.

     @ned have you tried those ultrasonic pest repellers? I haven't seen a single rat since I installed two of those. I'd imagine possums would hate them just like weasels and shit.
