     @blenderdumbass @SuperDicq It's proprietary 2d animation software that has face and body tracking that is used as part of proprietary software game streams.
     
     Of course it would be acceptable to use free 2d animation software and to stream free software games with free software.

     @Suiseiseki @SuperDicq I tend to see watching people play proprietary games as research into whats missing from Free Software games. And then I spend time, usually, coding it into Dani's Race or something.

     @blenderdumbass Proprietary games are presented in a way that restricts the user, but free games don't do that.
     
     Many clones of proprietary games have become better functionally than the original already.
     
     People will always believe proprietary software is better, just because a certain type of business has published it, even if it isn't.

     @Suiseiseki I'm trying to make free software games that are indistinguishable in presentation from proprietary game, to break the argument that proprietary games are somewhat better. We did that with software and operating systems. Now the last frontier. Games.

     @Suiseiseki Well you are right in some extend. And for the most part comping up with design ideas on my own is enough. But sometimes I just want to know how, say drifting of cars feels like in say the new Need For Speed. And I was a video about where it is shown. And then I try to replicate this in my game.

     @Suiseiseki See there is a big difference between reality and arcadiness. And it is a very hard balancing act to make a racing game with broad appeal. Cars are hard and if they are too realistic, nobody will want to play the game. Big racing studious put a lot of research into the perfect level of realism, so that people will actually enjoy the game. Free Software games barely have that. STK is complete nonsense and stuff like Speed Dream is too hard for average joe.

     It does have an arcade and pro modes that allows selecting between non-realistic and realistic.

     @Suiseiseki @blenderdumbass speed dreams sucks because its ugly and has shit physics. i want to race nascars. theres no game that offers this. i wanna crash into walls and other cars and make huge pileups. only GTA Online has circuit races that are actually good, but it banned cheating so it's over not playing that anymore.
