   @tieflingdio There’s a reason I just went back to daily driving a Mac after six years of Linux. (And I can code and I did try to improve things but… well… fun times and all that… https://ar.al/2024/06/23/fedora-has-been-shipping-with-a-broken-screen-reader-for-nine-years-but-the-real-problem-is-me/)

     I guess this is kind of the issue with a lot of alt software / services. Communities are like "if you don't like it, just learn programming and fix it" like that's somehow a reasonable request. Or they think that bad UI or missing features give it character.

     Linux is rly bad for this though it has improved. Firefox. And yeah, Fedi / Masto / etc too.

     Prob others.

     I want to like #Firefox, I really do. But at least on mobile, the app is pretty crap. And the attitude of some of the org / community is a huge turn off.

     So yeah, I guess time to ditch it for something less buggy. Yay.

     (Biggest irks: 4 years of an unaddressed "download failed" error, sneaking in AI and data collection.)
