   @valhalla @bomkatt There are also a couple of yarn dyers who sell multiple black yarns, each a slightly different hue.

   Or you could use black yarns of different materials so they reflected the light differently.

   But those only work for the black argyle socks, not the black rainbow. (Though now I’m wonder if the black patent leather is iridescent somehow?)

     @gannet @valhalla that would be kind of pretty, like oil slicks. But I really just think they were mistakes that stood out to me because I happen to like argyle socks and rainbow boots.
