@thatguyoverthere Yeah triage and critical treatment is seriously good at every hospital I've ever seen. It's just really hard to figure out things that aren't beyond that, and sometimes the system and its bureaucracy seem to get in the way of everything. There are nurses who care about patients and they seem to be the best ones to talk to about stuff.
>Totally off the record, what's your opinion on this. I need to know what realistic next steps are going to look like in best and worst case scenarios, and what treatment might look like from a super basic level.
Some of them can be really helpful.

@EssentialUtinsil @BowsacNoodle @thatguyoverthere you are 100% correct
the turn over rate is insane
but the industry is importing a bunch of retards and letting blacks cheat on their exams in the failing colleges who are also ran by ideologues and hateful cunts

@dictatordave @EssentialUtinsil @thatguyoverthere I look for the youngest RN I can find that looks like she actually cares about people. Odds are she hasn't had her will to live drained out of her by the system yet and she'll help you out in a big way

@BowsacNoodle @thatguyoverthere we had a fantastic nurse after our first kid was born. there was a minor problem that had a chance of being more serious, which of course is fun when you're a new parent, but she made sure we stayed informed of everything, and she pulled some strings so we could stay in our room after my wife was discharged so the kid didn't get moved to the nursery.
but she became a midwife right after that so I assume the system tends to push out a lot of the good ones.

@EssentialUtinsil @thatguyoverthere Midwife is one of the coolest jobs out there. They get it and they are usually very good at everything involved and way cheaper and less stressful than hospital BS.
