@olena @KatyElphinstone True! If something cultural and generally for relatives or close friends is done by or to a foreigner, it feels awkward. Mentally, it's understandable why and it's appreciated, but still, we only do it because it's our culture and/or relatives or close friends.
It's like kissing on the lips. I read before there's a culture where it is a form of greeting. They don't do it to foreigners, that would create all sorts of misunderstanding. And awkward if a foreigner do it even if it's understandable they want to experience the culture (and become a citizen later). 😅
