     This is why I said pennies on the dollar. Buy the business, keep the few facilities and tooling that can be used, sell the rest for scrap and fire everybody.

     Lots of companies would pick it up for the right price. Boeing will write off the loss, stockholders will get screwed, workers will get mass layoffs, and execs will give themselves a billion dollars in performance bonuses for reducing costs.

     @gentoobro that makes sense, but my vague feeling on this is that boeing as a company is already known to be "having issues" and so them buying yet another company having issues wouldn't provide a huge stock bump that the C suite could use to line their coffers.
