     @sun It works for many businesses who use it to run legacy malware without having to deal with windows.
     
     I'm not sure why they don't reverse engineer the software and upgrade to GNU/Linux mind you.

     @berkberkman Version numbers are arbitrary - Hurd has improved a lot recently and will probably be made more stable without a 1.0 version.

     @sun I tell people to swap to GNU, not "Linux".
     
     The sole purpose of reactos is to run proprietary software and you haven't gained freedom if all the software you end up using is proprietary.
     
     I'm sure reactos contains lots of proprietary software.
