@BroDrillard @RaHoWaJoe it's essentially what both parties, and especially inner city democrat machines have done for decades - put money in people's hands right up to the ballot box, but stopping just short, so it's not against the law.
I'm certainly Musk stopped well short of it, to give himself legal breathing room, in such that there are probably plenty of legal opinions to cite.

I guarantee you Musk run it by his legal team, and they said it's legal. Why wouldn't it be legal? He's not explicitly buying votes. It's not gambling because there is no chance of you losing money.
It's more legal than Kumala's "forgivable loans" to niggers - because it doesn't discriminate by race.
