  Well, I hear from... What I count as a moderately reliable source (but tranny so...) that apparently nip tech companies like foreigners because they can read all the English documentation.
  I figure I would need to be able to then communicate it to others, since they wouldn't expect me to do everything on my own, so I need to be at least that good.

  @Zergling_man @pyrate @wizardmanperson Flying sucks yeah. I'm hanging out in Japan rn but have to be back in SA for most of December so I have immolation to look forward to in several weeks.
  
  Migrating to japanland seems difficult if you don't have a multinational sponsoring you on a work transfer or marry a citizen. Russia... might be more straightforward with one of their fancy cultural refugee programs but it seems a bit too brave for me.

  @wizardmanperson Really tempting to get a pilot licence.
  But pretty sure I couldn't get a loan big enough to afford a plane, not to mention I would probably have to go through a ton of shit to offer even a private airline service so I could pay it off.

    The Port Arthur massacre was a mass shooting that occurred on 28 April 1996 at Port Arthur, a tourist town in the Australian state of Tasmania. The perpetrator, Martin Bryant, killed 35 people and wounded 23 others, the worst massacre in modern Australian history. The attack led to fundamental changes in Australia's gun laws. Two of Bryant's victims were known to him personally and were killed at Seascape, a bed and breakfast property. The majority of his victims were killed in a shooting spree at the Port Arthur Historic Site, a popular tourist destination. Using two semi-automatic rifles, he began his attack at a small café before moving into a nearby gift shop, killing twenty people indiscriminately in a short amount of time. Many others were killed at the site's car park, including several children. After killing its four occupants, Bryant stole a vehicle at the site's tollbooth and drove to a nearby service station, where he killed a woman and abducted her partner. He continued to fire at passing vehicles before finally returning to Seascape with his hostage, who was then killed. He set fire to the property but was captured the following...
