     @sapphire I have, I just don't know how or where to responsibly dispose of it that isn't dumping it into mixed waste. I asked some people and they don't know either. The closest thing I found is 2700€ industrial machine for processing plastic.

     @hj unless you're willing to spend your money for the shared environment your best bet is shredding it down and landfilling it (its not ideal, but getting it small will reduce its environmental lifetime to years instead of centuries)

     @hj Some recyclers will accept PLA as long as it's not contaminated and you have a big enough volume.
     
     PLA will actually decompose, although you need a really harsh compost environment for it to break down in a reasonable amount of time.

     @sapphire @eal yeah the problem that sekäjäte (mixed waste) will most likely either get burned (there is/was "energiajäte" separate bin but for some reason it's very rare in households, my previous one had one and it was emptied once a century) or landfill'd
     
     I just want to dispose of it responsibly, i.e. grind it down and deliver it to some recycling point, I don't even want filament or compensation from it.

     @sapphire @eal there IS a funny how you're not supposed to put liquids (i.e. oil) into biojäte, but also not supposed to dump liquids into sewers. What you're supposed to do, apparently, is to collect the liquids, cool them and then throw them into mixed waste
