     @sun maemo/meego was pretty decent except it was put on a total shit of a phone.
     
     Blackberry could've been cool, but RIM/Blackberry Inc. decided to close it as much as possible, even though QNX was open source when they acquired it.

     @newt @sun Huh completely missed that about QNX, although was it actually open-source or just source available? Because http://www.qnx.com/news/pr_2471_1.html seems to hint at a non-commercial license.

     @lanodan @sun open source is when you can read the source code. I've no idea what "source available" is.
     
     That is, QNX was under an open source commercial license, but Blackberry stopped publishing the code.

     @lanodan @sun dammit, that's too much autism for my little brain. I'm gonna call "open source" anything I obtained the code for, including from torrents and/or leaks. That is, Windows 2000 is open source.
