     @Wyliesau @bonifartius and the terrifying thing here: at least 80% of people (in my own experience) say that tax evasion is a crime that should be punished even more so than your regular theft.

     It's a Stockholm syndrome society we live in!

     that's money lacking to prep with.

     @bonifartius @Wyliesau that's definitely the case. But I'd argue that it's more of a symptom rather than a cause. I mean, the general public is being overtaxed because the general public allows it. Again, if people were to collectively say "fuck it, I'm not paying for services I don't receive" and act on it, as in, withhold their taxes, things would change in no time. Guaranteed

     @Wyliesau honestly, those kind of people are exactly the problem. I mean, I feel for them and all, but in the end of the day, this shit only happens because people rely on government agencies for survival instead of taking full responsibility for that on themselves. You know, like adults.
     It might be an unpopular opinion, but here it is.
