     That the judge was a molester isn't enough unless the jury nullifies. He has to establish it wasn't premeditated. On heat of passion, you still get manslaughter if charged.

     yeah I wondered about that too. Maybe he was like, someones cousin and his office was in the basement, out of the way. Like maybe he wasn't a serious judge?

     I couldn't find anything like a local paper for Whitesburg, KY but maybe there's some facebook chatter? That's the kind of stuff you'd find on a local facebook group.

     I found the rumor mill. Sheriff's daughter might be pregnant with judges baby. She may have been old enough to consent under state law though, but not by much. Seventeen or eighteen.

The defense made it sound like the judge was banging the sheriff's daughter when she was underage and possibly going after the sheriff's wife. There is a lot going on in that case. The defense has all but crushed any chance of 1st degree murder in the prelims.
