   I'd give anything to be able to effectively communicate to people who are going to hand Trump the presidency because they want to protest Biden/Harris's support of Israel how much they're going to regret that decision.

   I'm sure they think they're doing a lot and holding the line by "not voting for genocide" but the degree to which they're going to strongly wish, in a very short amount of time, that they'd made a different choice cannot be understated.

     @WillA763 @rodhilton OP is talking about progressives/leftists who refuse to vote for Harris, thus risking Trump’s win. It’s not about Trump supporters.

     @WhiteCatTamer @rodhilton Point taken. In that case, I’m not going to blame them for refusing to vote for Harris. I’m going to blame the people who voted for Trump because they’re the ones chiefly responsible if he wins. And while I’m voting for Harris, not happily, since the Democrats remain imperialists who look at Palestinians as subhumans, I cannot be mad or upset or police people on my side who refuse to do so. That’s on us for nominating imperialists.

     @WillA763 @rodhilton I agree that Trump supporters are overwhelmingly to blame for Trump’s chances, and that the gap between my idea of an ideal world and theirs is monstrous.

     I do, however, lay some blame at the feet of the ones who won’t vote Harris because they believe they are preserving their good moral character while claiming they are allies for the marginalized groups who will be in the crosshairs under Trump.

     How do you convince an entire group of people that think they're doing the right thing that they're about to do the one thing that a future version of themselves would go back in a time machine and change immediately?

     @rodhilton I don’t assume they will regret it. I don’t think most of them care. They only want what they want, & if it comes at our expense all the better. We need to stop telling ourselves these voters are somehow just regular folk who’ve been tricked. This is an open enough society, most of them know exactly what they’re doing when they say things like ‘lock her up,’ ‘all lives matter,’ & ‘kick out illegals.’ I take them at their words. They’re effectly & actively evil in their sentiments.
