     @burner @monsterislandcolonizer Literally everything I put together at home, I'm using torx. Tired of crappy zinc screws failing. Built my deck with Torx.

     Torx is quite good. I also appreciate hex socket heads. I fucking hate slotted and Phillips head screws though. Fucking hate em.

     @The_Almighty_Kek @burner @monsterislandcolonizer Slotted has one place that I'm okay with, which is precision. Small area where you don't want cross threading or over torquing is perfect for a hardened steel slotted screw. But that's a rarity and shouldn't be prevalent.

     @Diogenese_Shiplap @burner @monsterislandcolonizer Yeah the square or hex heads are legit. I tell all the bros who buy Japanese bikes to swap all of their cursed jap screws for hex heads so that they can get by with an allen wrench to do any on the fly maintenance.

     @BowsacNoodle @burner @monsterislandcolonizer Torx to phillips comparison is the same as phillips to flathead. I would add the square head for heavy framing, and you can get them for impact tools also.
