   I would also like to note that he wrote opener First We Take Manhattan is a call to action for that he terms "Psychic Terrorism".

   I absolutely do not have time to wax lyrical about counter-culture and memetic warfare, the ragged trappings of occult and spiritual pretence, symbolist representations of a philosophy of freedom.

   However, I do strongly feel that there is something inherent in this song that should be read as a call to dismantle the both the material and philosophical underpinnings of cultural oppression that functions through the normalisation of specific kinds of harm, a kind of body horror that takes a living, feeling being, with senses and intellect all its own, and reforges it, be streaming or compliant, into an insignificant component of the engine of capitalist hegemony.

     Sometimes when you link to a YouTube video from an external site that support, instead of providing an auto-embedded player per Mastodon's media API and YT's embed API, you'll get a non-interactive link summary. This usually happens with "mature" or otherwise gated content.

     In this particular case, however, I was using the wrong style of inbound link to YT (m. and .be links don't embed). Personal error.
