This is essentially the problem of the modern era. People think they know things, but they have like a 5th grade base level understanding of things and use this to them create ridiculous theories.

@warmbeverageenjoyer @ACL9000 The stupidest thing is that when the fascists run places (like spain), they also start with strong speech controls, then loosen them, then the commies get back in power.
They have an serious problem, which is mostly, not enough dead commies.

@ACL9000 @sickburnbro LeCunt more like
but also
even if you want to classify the civil war as a "fascist takeover attempt," (fuck dixie but, c'mon lol), it was still 160+ years ago. Europe has had numerous (dozens, if you include every time libs throw a tantrum over AfD lol) fascist takeover attempts since then, and the US has none
Euros are truly diseased, addled

@sickburnbro He implies that it's correct for speech controls to exist in order to guardrail political outcomes and expects Americans to hear that shit with any sympathy. Sad.

@warmbeverageenjoyer @ACL9000 I mean, my dog you live in a country full of rules with men with guns who are ready to make you comply.
Your only answer is to not make enough noise that they ignore you.

@sickburnbro @ACL9000 this is what i am doing, yeah.
my problem is almost every fascist ive spoken to ends up being completely retarded, moreso than commies who at least read (and misunderstand) theory
intolerable

@warmbeverageenjoyer @ACL9000 This is the bitter pill, that all societies require violence, over time.

@sickburnbro @ACL9000 ew, no. they have some passable ideas, just like fashies do, but the overarching ideology is sick and/or retarded.
the thing both have in common is they require hard, authoritarian violence to establish themselves, which is unacceptable to me.

@warmbeverageenjoyer @ACL9000 The entire point of civilization is ultimately to decide what are acceptable levels of violence.
The line "a horse thief is killed not because he stole a horse, but so horses are not stolen" comes to mind.

@sickburnbro @ACL9000 this is true.
look, i'm not so naiive to believe that everything can be all hunky dory and each individual will work towards the betterment of his country, his neighbor, and himself if there is not at the least the threat of violence
i understand niggers&wiggers exist.
i just don't agree about the level of violence, the frequency of violence, and the type of violence that is acceptable.
What is acceptable changes based on country and where a country is in it's development, but as much as I sometimes feel like "boy would it be good to kill all those retards and have a good country without problems," the reality is that is never acceptable

No, Christ has risen. There is no darkness after death for those in Christ.
"And I heard a voice from heaven saying, 'Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.' 'Blessed indeed,' says the Spirit, 'that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!'" (Rev. 14:13)

@SuperSnekFriend Lets be real - Jesus didn't rise again after t-posing to death on that cross.
The disciples originally saw a vision of Jesus on the water of a lake and then suddenly it morphed into him coming back and him showing off his nail wounds?

@SuperSnekFriend I don't know - after all it has been ~1994 years since then, so that kind of detail not being in a surviving recording is somewhat expected.

Why did the Sanhedrin not produce Christ' body, which was publicly known through the city and nearby villages, when the resurrection claim was first made in Jerusalem?

@Suiseiseki
The surviving recordings of the Resurrection and aftermath are found in the Gospels, with manuscripts from the first century, and partly by Josephus. There is no detail in history about the Sanhedrin successfully refuting the resurrection claim because they could not produce a body that was not truly present in the tomb, as expected from the Resurrection actually happening. The apostles and others would not lose everything and die miserably for a known lie.

@SuperSnekFriend >they could not produce a body that was not truly present in the tomb, as expected from the Resurrection actually happening.
It's impossible for the wrong tomb to be pointed out, or someone to grab a dead body out of a tomb and then wow; empty tomb!
>The apostles and others would not lose everything and die miserably for a known lie.
People dying miserably for a known lie has occurred a *lot* in history.
