   I wonder if I can pre-order directly from Sony without having to go through a retailer?

   I hate having to deal with retailer pre-orders. They never have the release date right and stuff goes wrong like 75% of the time.

     @LavenderPawprints thanks! I'm quite excited tbh. I've been waiting for this and was concerned it'd be almost $1k. It's amazing that they've managed to only raise the price by $200 in my opinion.

     @BeAware I'm just happy you're happy. That shit needs to be celebrated more often.

     I see people ignoring other people or outright putting them down for having a little dopamine hit, and it's like WHY? I'm happy when my friends are happy.

     Also, I'm a total fucking nerd and when I see another nerd making happy sounds about the acquizition of new tech I can't help but happy squee for them. Looking forward to that unboxing post. Do let me know how good that new tech smell is. :)

     @BeAware You are welcome, from past experience, use a broswer with extensions off and be ready to go with payment information already verified and be logged in before time. If someone manages to get the actual page ahead, load it so you can try to just refresh without running thru the whole website.
