  The machines I highlight in this video all have the same potentially lethal design. Recent firmware makes the sensors work correctly now, but the design is still very dangerous if they fail. No self-cleaning litter box should have an opening that closes off like these.   Hey @sun you might want to boost this, I like to think there's not a lot of people around these parts that would be that braindead to consider buying something like a smart proprietary litterbox, but just in case.

  @sally @mangeurdenuage The video also demonstrates the consequences of referring to proprietary software as firmware - people don't realize that what they are updating is proprietary software - it must be something else.
