     @sickburnbro Some of the prices in these bulk-buy stores (including Sam's Club) are the same or less than non bulk-buy stores. Sam's also has cheaper gas than the stations located around it.
     
     It's also nice not having to go out shopping constantly and get the stuff you like in all one go.

     They trick people too. Five Guys did studies and found out they could charge more for their food if they didn't put up pictures of the burgers on the walls or menus. For some reason the human brain equates no pictures to higher quality so no one bats at an eye at paying 24 dollars for a combo meal there

     @doonxib @sickburnbro Maybe a little hyperbolic, but not by much. The only way to avoid overhead cost on prepared-food is dumpster diving - which comes with its own risks and usually isn’t worth it.

     @KingOfWhiteAmerica @sickburnbro Yup places sell their food at a mark up of an already marked up item, then add labor and cost of the building. It's ten times what it costs by the time you lay down the money on the table.
