     @sun I'm pretty sure there are dlna players on the Amazon app store. Then install minidlna on your media server. It will work with minimal configuration.

     Slave the spy machine to your PC or whatever and use something like universal remote control to send music commands to it.

     Honestly the best solution I found is using a wireless video feed directly into the TV from the laptop.
     Duplicate screen and have a wireless keyboard and you are in business.

     I heard about this in a podcast recently, and saw ars technica covered it. I'm probably going to be looking into it. Get a tv that never connects to the internet and just use this. I will not be strapping a jacked up laptop to the back of my screen though, there's surely better solutions lol.
