   @dabertime hey man. We went through something similar. Hang in there. You’d be surprised at how resilient humans can be in the face of adversity. Stay strong.

     If we're not doing well, we can possibly hide it somewhat from our loved ones for a few days, maybe less when it stretches to several, but beyond that..?

     We try to protect them, to give them reprieve from anxiety, fear and disruption. We don't want to burden them.
     I suspect they know and hide that for our sake as well.

     My wife is less than 2 weeks away from going on her bucket list vacation. This means everything to me.
     I've been in emergency twice this past week.

     Damn, this is hard.
