@eee@tyler@KK954 You can run acetone in there too if you have "varnish" clogging things up. I ran about 5:1 gas to acetone and drove it hard and it fixed a misfire on a Honda. It was one of those desperation attempts after I'd tried everything short of complicated and expensive things.
@tyler@KK954 fix that asap, bad fuel destroyed the pump, then the injector, and then the head gasket because it ran too lean. i still have to clean the injector a couple of times to be safe.
@tyler@KK954 a neat little something i learned this year, go make friends with the local airport guys to get kerosene as fuel additive for your gas engines, up to 5% is safe. or use diesel
@tyler@KK954 i dug around in a fuel tank today and found the internal fuel hose to be completely turned to goo and the fuel pump to be destroyed. hate rationed wartime fuel, keep your corn starch slop
@KingOfWhiteAmerica@eee@tyler@KK954 I can't say how that actually ran vs standard because it had been running hard with a regular miss for a while. It didn't run poorly. I ran the tank down to E and put a whole gallon in, so it was something between 5:1 and 3:1. It didn't smell like it was running rich for that, so maybe it got some injectors or valves unstuck or something
