     @sun Perhaps, but it did make for some cool screensavers (back when those were still a thing).
     
     I also had a CD-ROM Trek encyclopedia that used it as an interface, it worked okay.

     @sun There was this one guy who would make you a custom screensaver if you e-mailed him your name and "rank." It was basically just an AVI file that the screensaver ran on loop.

     Someone else made Flash-based screensavers. My favorite was the one based on the U.S.S. Relativity from that one Voyager episode.

     And also a lot of the B-team myths were boring filler. Except for a few times where B-team actually had a more interesting myth than the main one Jamie and Adam were testing.

     @Hoss @tk i'm not a good tv watcher because drama in such shows to me is just filler, i want to see technical details. so none of these shows satisfy. so many great ideas for shows like "make a cool custom car every week" and they cut away instantly any time there is car work and just film assholes arguing for an hour.

     Those shows aren't meant to actually be about building the thing, that's just the vaguely technical cover excuse they came up with to shovel boatloads of reality TV drama shit onto the Discovery channel.
