@LawrenceGerald @NatalieTBP @Basketball_Jesus @ChairmanO15 @DurpState We Catholics have come to terms with cremation. At the Second Coming, will we be perfectly reunited with our bodies? Yes. Is it for me to put God in a box and say how our bodies are disposed of until then? No.
I'll look at the Ballinger area. I just want to sit and tell the stories He gives me.

@machciv @LawrenceGerald @NatalieTBP @Basketball_Jesus @ChairmanO15 @DurpState Pine box with wooden or iron nails is all you need friend. Oh and a hole in the ground.

@machciv @NatalieTBP @Basketball_Jesus @ChairmanO15 @DurpState NO CREMATION! The body is holy through the Incarnation of Christ. We do green burials in Orthodoxy, and no funeral home even needs to be involved. If you can find a country cemetery that will allow it, or maybe at a Roman Catholic monastery, you don't even need a casket.
If I could afford to move, I'd get some land around Ballinger/Paint Rock. It's Central Texas, but also the beginning of the great southwestern desert.

@LawrenceGerald @NatalieTBP @Basketball_Jesus @ChairmanO15 @DurpState As you know, I've the bloodline, but was only there from birth to 2.5; then, just for my last year in HS. I literally can call no place home. I've told my wife to put my ashes in the dumpster.
I live in my storytelling. Call it psychotic, now with my two daughters off killing people with their Secret clearances, it's all I have left.
Perhaps a tiny, one-room house in West Texas? Let me write then die.

@NatalieTBP @Basketball_Jesus @ChairmanO15 @DurpState Texans are my people and I'm pretty partial to 'em. My metric for an actual Texan is if your great-great grandfather was born here, and all your ancestors since then are buried here. If you don't know where your ancestors are buried, I do not recommend visiting. You will be uncomfortable.

Like I said before, you kind folks told me quite clearly to not mess with you, so I just don't. 😉

@Basketball_Jesus @DurpState @ChairmanO15 Um...I thought we already had this conversation. You seem to have forgotten where the 'nicest people ever' are located.
That said, I visited a lake about an hour outside of Atlanta this summer & it was one of the most beautiful lakes I had ever seen (and I've seen a lot of beautiful lakes). Very clean & white, too.
