@WoodshopHandman@dubbub@MisterLister thus the question is back to "what is good urbanization" and I point to you the picture and comments I had today where the dumb columist that was raised in manhattan was proudly showing his paucity of tools. ( I have more tools in my truck )
@WoodshopHandman@MisterLister My Albanian brother in allah, you do realize those are like pre-industrial 50k max towns. Once you stuff the current magnitude of economic activity into cities there is no saving them. Urbanization is a great evil.
@MisterLister "Cities are... le bad!" is a faggot republicuck opinion for niggers that unironically swallow every piece of "American conservative" (much rednecks, muh beer, muh guns, muh John Deere, muh freedoms) propaganda willingly and then fellate themselves over it
@sickburnbro@WoodshopHandman@MisterLister The problem is economic activity - it is drawn to population centers, which in turn concentrates the population even more. This phenomena is called the rank-size rule.
The solution is forcing companies into sparsely populated areas where you then build social housing. Communism did that quite nicely, but it had other problems ofc. This is why OP concludes Eastern European cities are nicer than US, one was developed with foresight, the other by market whims.
