Even I'm not dumb enough to buy a house near the beach.

@thatbrickster I like how the comments are people blaming climate change, and one guy saying in this area it is due to poor construction lol

@mrsaturday @thatbrickster it was estimated at over 500K when it blew over. But it clearly was a piece of shit and the retarded housing market kept flipping it to bigger suckers until a hurricane, which these houses are normally built to withstand, finally knocked it over after fifty years.

@sun @thatbrickster Even in 2018, $340k for 9,000 square feet of beachfront property on the Outer Banks has to mean the house attached is a real piece of trash

@mrsaturday @thatbrickster they gave up trying to convince you that your beachfront property will be underwater BECAUSE IT NEVER HAPPENED so now every time a piece of shit house-flipper dump collapses it's climate change.

@sun @thatbrickster That area's been getting flooded with people from the NY/NJ metroplex and prices have been skyrocketing, and the covid real estate boom didn't help much either. I'm sure that's what happened, flippers not even taking care of the bare minimum of making it hurricane-ready but put all of their attention into making sure the kitchen and living room were HGTV-friendly.
