     ... by basic, I mean minimum GOV and focusing on true objectives as constrained in the Constitution.

     I'm referring to the IDEA. It is a collectivist perspective which directly counters the foundation of the USA, which is (supposed to be) about individualism.

     The vast majority of people do not understand the word "democracy" nor the real implications of such an approach to GOVERNMENT.

     You forgot about the process of calling a convention.
     
     You also forgot about the option of adding an amendment abolishing the constitution, which would allow for simultaneously having and not having a constitution, thereby violating the law of excluded middle.

     The constitution, as a governing document of the states, is changed by the states after congers proposes changes.

     Technically that form of government is an oligarchy. The Senate originally was an oligarchy.

     Congress was supposed to be a mix of democracy and oligarchy, as proposed by Aristotle.

     Are you proposing to abolish the house of representatives or restore the Senate to its former form?

     Someone mentions repealing the 14th, and you miss the interstate commerce clause, the privileges and immunities clause, the due process clause, the equal protection clause, and section 5, which gives congress the power to interpret the amendment. Please just stop. You suck at this. 😒

     Sec 1 - change so that every person born to leagle resident of the US is a citizen.

     Sec 2 - change so that every person who pays net taxes (tax - welfare), is counted.

     Sec 3 - abolish

     A convention is a convention of governors, so it's also a semi oligarchy.

     My point is that the US is a mixture of democracy and oligarchy, just like Aristotle advised. I am trying to understand, if you think democracy is bad, how will the federal government look like?
