@RustyCrab I’m surprised at the amount of people answering false… it doesn’t fully go away for me, but it does weaken quite a bit

@RustyCrab @dommymommy this is normal, most people don't don't have super self control and they have to control their environment somewhat

@dommymommy dunno, as I've gotten more depressed I've been having a much harder time with self control so I've been having to implement extreme measures to make sure I don't turn into a fat piece of shit

@dommymommy I don't know. Is implementing draconian measures on yourself to account for lack of self control a form of self control? I guess so.

@dommymommy I have started not carrying money with me unless I am specifically going out on a grocery run. That will probably bite me in the ass one of these days.

@dommymommy maybe it sort of depends on what subject you're talking about. For me it's various types of food that I want to avoid.

@RustyCrab but anyway not buying the things of choice and keeping them in the else helps a lot, so I’d still argue it’d help. the only problem is passing by any store and seeing it (IT MOCKS YOU)

@RustyCrab @dommymommy americans are trained to think that if you don't have perfect self control in a massively hostile world that it's a personal failing. I think it's because this helps sell more shit.

@RustyCrab @dommymommy @sun I went to Japan for two weeks and lost 20 pounds, then gained it back when I came home. I think it's the chemicals in our food.

@mrsaturday @dommymommy @sun there's a lot of personal testimonies I've heard of euros coming over to america and gaining a metric shit ton of weight instantly so I don't believe it's just that.

@RustyCrab @dommymommy @sun Obesity in the US is 100% caused by the American way of life. European society tends to hold its people and what they do away from work in higher regard than American society.
