     "Oh sure, I'm a real leftist, but I also strongly believe we need fascist murderpigs; of course, I won't say that, I'll pretend there's a magical universe where police aren't explicitly fascist murderpigs even though that universe does not exist and has not ever existed anywhere in the pig empire, which I'd know if I ever did any reading on the subject at all but *HA* I can't be arsed! Nevertheless I will declare myself correct and anyone arguing with me to be "crazy..."

     I can objectively tell that you folks have had precisely zero actual encounters with really-existing police and haven't looked at any of the statistics involved here but think Law and Order episodes are probably how it works in real life. "But who would solve MURDERS" - check the numbers on how often that actually happens Dorothy cause holy shit are you out of touch. Like medieval villagers crying "how do I ward away evil humors without my leeches" level wrong.

     That must have been around 2000 or so. From what I'm seeing, today that would be more like "2 degrees left of center at brunch; 15 degrees right of center when their privileges and feelz are threatened."

     And that's with the "center" being pushed well Right itself.
