     you can have blades longer than that if they’re fixed, but as soon as there’s a locking mechanism it must not be longer than 6cm and it must not be possible to open it with one hand

     @kaia that’s the one i have rn. cost €12! doesn’t hold the edge very well (8Cr13MoV steel) but is easy to sharpen. can reliably flick it open with one hand :hehe:
     
     it’s a good knife, absolutely worth the money

     @kaia That's stupid legislation. I guess my rescue knife I carry almost everywhere is illegal in Germany. Can't even cut a seatbelt or break a window in a car crash.

     that blade shape is more useful to me and since i’m not allowed to carry either one in public anyway i’ll just go for one with a longer blade :cirno_shrug:
