     @SuperSnekFriend @Myles @SuperLutheran I dig it! It's hard in practice, because sometimes it does mean offending people who you like but have an obvious problem they're willfully blind towards. It happens all the time on fedi with people throwing accusations of Pharisee towards those who get "preachy" about someone's favorite pet sin. I am a sinner. I'm not better than anyone else. Yet if I remind a friend that unrepentant sinful behavior (e.g. celebration of cranking one's hog to hentai) should not be celebrated, I'm suddenly called an e-trad and fake Christian only concerned with trying to lord authority over others. I'm not even throwing stones, but I think people shouldn't abuse Christian freedom as a license to sin. I've struggled with porno, which is why I rebuke it.

     No, I don't agree. A single sin was enough for deserved damnation, and I had committed plenty of them. Not every action was a sin when I was not saved, but no amount of my own good could atone for the sins I did commit.

     What I was getting at with Bow is that we are born slaves to sin. As soon as you are saved, you become the servant of righteousness.
     
     You're not obligated to fulfil the Law. You're able to love your neighbor and love the Lord.
     
     You can write that check anonymous. It's for His Glory, not your pride.

     God wants you to trust Him. He doesn't want your best. He wants you to believe that He loves you enough to die for your sins.
     
     We love Him because He first loved us. His Death, Burial and Resurrection is proof of that love. If that isn't sufficient, what else can He do.

     While we were still sinners, He loved us. He went to the Cross. Now you can believe He died for our sins. He was buried. He rose again. That's all you can do to be saved.
     
     Now that you do believe, you are saved, you can do those good works, where before you were just tooting your own horn. Look at me!
     
     Without faith, it is impossible to please God. You have faith! Glorify God.
