     Radical left would be stuff like collective ownership of all businesses, or a wealth tax whose top bracket is 100%. Drastic restructuring of society. Not anything Harris and Walz have proposed.

     I observed when Obama was first elected that both the far left and the far right assumed a black man would be a radical, when he clearly ran as a center-left Democrat. Obviously Harris is getting the same treatment. Only difference is that the center of Demomcratic politics has, in fact, shifted left.

     In UK, Australia/NZ and northern Europe, #kamalaharris would be seen as a moderate social democrat/slightly centre-left politician. Her advocacy to raise the minimum wage and ensure access to healthcare etc are mainstream in other western democratic polities.
     So when GOP politicians (many of whom do hold extreme views) label her "communist" "radical left" its met with a mixture of derision and disbelief in other western countries. #uspol @kamalaharrisforpresidentnews

     Harris is a liberal, which is center left. She's not far left by any means.

     So when someone calls her a "communist", they're just outing themselves as fascist.
