     @LukeAlmighty idk i'd be fine with hearing that. i think being a husband/father is infinitely more valuable than being a fuck buddy. might not have the looks of some extreme chad dude that a chick would only want to be with for one night but if she's been with me for 2.5 years and is saying she wants to marry me that's pretty good.

     guy probably just doesn't like that she talked about hooking up. seems immature to me. only reason i'd think it wasn't is if he was like, heavily suspecting her to be cheating on him or something and this was the final nail in the coffin for him to distance himself.

     @LukeAlmighty idk i think that's reading too far into it. if the story happened isolated and she's actually giving an accurate retelling of it i don't think it's that bad and he's overreacting.

     Well, it's obvious, that the line itself would not be enough of a red flag, if it was comming from a completely stable girl.

     On the other hand, I seriously doubt a completely stable girl would feel the need to compare me to her hookups. So, as the gentlemen say, let's agree to disagree. :smug:

     @LukeAlmighty The problem isn't that she said it. The problem is the patterns of thought that go into saying it and none of those patterns are good. Women generally can't understand this because it requires you to think about what you are thinking and that level of introspection actually requires effort.
