     @BattleDwarfGimli @Escoffier Right; the way it was framed to my class during public indoctrination was that everybody was having a grand old time until suddenly, for no reason at all, He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named conned the whole of Germany into electing him into power.
     Some time later, they divulged it was because, for no reason at all, Deutsche Marks had lost all value through hyperinflation, and people were seen with wheelbarrows full of worthless paper buying a single potato.
