   @thatbrickster@shitposter.world @KimCrayton1 You do understand that not everyone has the time and effort to run a single user instance to have that sort of control?

   Even I, a cis white person have seen the dark side of the fediverse in recent days when a "parody" account of Kamala went on a 💩 posting tirade and I inadvertantly got involved leading to a sustained #dogpiling.

   At the end of the day things like muting, and on the admin side, limiting or suspending instances should be a last resort.

     @compuguy @thatbrickster @KimCrayton1 why do you let instance admining get to your mental health? No one has a fun time here when they try to shape the fediverse at large to be more in-line with their values. Unfortunately, if you wish to stay in good standing with the fediblock overseers, you're forced to do just that.

     @thatbrickster@shitposter.world @KimCrayton1 Though these days, I'm getting tired of this 💩 and I'm equally just as happy to limit/suspend instances from orbit to protect my mental health. I don't have the time or patience anymore for this....😩

     @compuguy I appreciate and understand that, but at the end of the day users have the tools to mute or block whomever they want.
     
     If you're going to draw from history, I've been here since 2016. Trust me, I've seen worse.
