     @lanodan I really wonder about the proportionality of the price of the product here - mainly plastic ? Transport ? Packaging ? Fridges ? And how much remains for the actual workers who cut the occasional branch and carefully picked up the fruit.

     I feel like they'd be minority.

     @lanodan What's really obscure to me is how we don't, as humans who originally were like "paradise is made of orchards we can handpick stuff from" just doesn't plant the fucking trees. Every acre of unused land should be laid of fruit trees ; and if you've nothing to do from your day you'd default to pick some and make something of them.

     But nah, we must buy the plastic laced stuff packed by slaves from afar and have consumer looking in the distance asking "what am I for". PICK FRUIT FROM TREE

     @moth_ball @otyugh There's at least Reduce and Reuse before Recycle, after all recycling isn't free (and in many cases it's non-existant and it goes to landfill instead).

     @lanodan @moth_ball Also recycling :
     * Is energy intensive
     * Pollutes
     * Is insufficient, and more insufficient every day forward (plastic production is accelerating faster than the industry of "recycling")
     * Doesn't make new X with X, plastic downgrades at each cycle ; that's why it's not a cycle because it doesn't cycle to start with.

     Recycling is a great way to carry on with producing plastic because "we have the virtual solution" - in a magic kingdom where delusion work.
