   Apparently possible VP pick Mark Kelly is trying to lose the election singlehandedly as we speak. Applauding Netanyahu's demands for more weapons and implications that the anti-genocide protests could be funded by Iran.

     @AnarchoNinaWrites Worth noting Pete Buttigieg is actually in contention as well. I strongly suspect he'll be the nominee. Said as much a couple days ago, but it only was confirmed today. So I'm holding out hope for him to be the VP nominee. Makes the most sense. Least political risk in terms of losing a seat (senate or governor, etc).

     Well this is awful. Can you point me at a source for what he's saying so I can share it around a bit?

     I actually have no real feelings about him, except that 'astronaut' has a HELL of a lot to do with 'hyperconformist follows orders', I hadn't looked into him just seen his name around here and there. I was sort of just mentally assigning him 'buffer for people who are scared by black woman' and figured I would research him a bit later.

     And before you give me a hard time about "but that's just Twitter" - the first guy is a political correspondent for Huffington Post, and the 2nd guy works for Mehdi Hassan's new outlet.

     These are not randos and they are people with quite a good deal of credibility to lose for lying about something like that.
