Even Toyota is going to shit? Toyotas used to be the most reliable and durable cars.

@BroDrillard @deprecated_ii I don't know if there exists a reliable well built car these days. One of the best things about owning a car that's more than five years old is you can find out what actually sucks before you buy it. The downside is that usually puts you into third owner territory unless you're lucky and can find a one owner non-rental car.

@BowsacNoodle @BroDrillard @deprecated_ii Modern cars have thousands of sensors and multiple computer modules and non-redundant electronic systems. I'll never forget working at a recycling center during the "cash for clunker" days. So many efficient, great running and dependable vehicles got removed from the road during that subversive program.

@anonmoose90 @BroDrillard @deprecated_ii Removing starter cars with tons of life left in them to provide corporate welfare to GM et al was such a devastating blow to working class people in the long term.
