   I'm still processing all that's happened.

   We almost lost Trump.

   I can't wrap my mind around it... I've had this pain in the pit of my stomach since last Saturday. The air is buzzing with electricity. We came very close to a horrific murder that would have changed our course forever...

   these monsters won't stop.

   We need to dig HARD into our faith in God and faith in our fellow human beings.

   God bless us all. 🙏

     meh. I'm glad it happened because it forced me to slow down and really look critically at the situation. I'm really wondering how this will age in 4 years:

     People are super emotional right now and I'm find with going back to divesting in the sports game of politics. Presidents in America aren't elected, they're installed. I knew that once, but I forgot .. but now I remember.

     I find this narrative entirely unpersuasive. The head of the secret service is jill biden's personal friend and pick for the job, and she's been on a massive dei hiring spree the last 3 years. Then jill biden comes to town the same day pulling the seasoned A-team ss detail leaving kim's loyal agents to cover trump. Seems much more likely kim and jill were the ones organizing the security lapses. For trump to be the mastermind, he would have to be pulling kim's strings behind the dhs' back and of her friends the bidens themselves, and probably rope in 2 separate ss teams into his scheme, unless he also controls jill's travel schedule. But even if that were the case, why are mayorkas and the bidens running cover for her now instead of firing her, or arresting her, or exposing her? Joe and jill are under that same ss protection, they have nothing to gain from having a rouge agent willing to stage or fake assassination attempts (at anyone else's direction) running their security. I think you went too far down the rabbit hole on this one.

     Okay, let's take this a step further. Let's say a Wal-mart cashier posted on Facebook/X "The guy on the roof should have aimed two inches to the left."
     
     Is it morally okay go to that person's manager and show them the post?
     
     I am NOT asking if it's legal. I'm asking is it moral?

     ah okay, so you are a moral relativist then, not a moral absolutist. So when you say "douchy but not immoral" it's because morality is on a scale.
     
     (for the hard core evangelical, morality is absolute. If Jesus would not do it, it is wrong/sin and if Jesus would be okay with it, than it is not).

     Well, my morality isn't rooted in religion. I'm agnostic as to the concept of "sin", but if I'm recalling my parables correctly, I think the prodigal son did a bunch of "wrong" stuff, but I don't think the implication was that it was all sin.

     I mean, I suspect not... Though he did flip those tables in the temple that one time, so today would he have doxxed the money-changers instead? Who knows 🤷♀️
