   I found that SO GAY stickers slightly block signals due to the holographic finish. It takes multiple stickers to fully block signal, but they might still interfere with WiFi if you place them next to the chip, so I wouldn't recommend doing so.

     @iro_miya@mk.absturztau.be I feel really bad because you gave me one your stickers and I don't know where I put it so I lost it before I could put it on my server with all the other fedi stickers I have. I new need new one now.

     @iro_miya So could be a bit annoying on laptops/tablets/… depending on where you placed it. (Assuming there's still wifi antennas in the lid of laptops)

     @iro_miya Well yeah - it isn't surprising it can't power the proprietary NFC processor wirelessly when there's multiple layers aluminized plastic deflecting the power elsewhere.

     @lanodan@queer.hacktivis.me I think nowadays the WiFi antennas are usually in the bottom part of the laptop

     @iro_miya Wi-Fi in laptops tends to use a longer antenna than that sticker and the ability of some cards to pick up very low dB signals is impressive - so while the speed of the connection is likely to be impacted due to part of the signalling being deflected elsewhere, it is likely to still work.
