   OK so I managed to get it going with some preliminary test images. It's pretty cool. It's like I've got my very own little image upload API and content delivery network that compresses images to webp and jpeg and serves up the webp if supported. Here's a test image.      @anathema_device @BeAware Yep. Same on Safari for me too. Fine on Firefox and Chrome. Ah hang on. Looks like it's serving up the jpeg version in Safari, instead of the webp. Maybe Safari doesn't support webp yet. Still, the jpeg version shouldn't be blocky like that, but maybe something happened during encoding.

     Maybe there's something wrong with the way it's requesting compression from apple products, causing it to save the changes somehow and for some reason. I have no clue, I'm just spitballing. I am almost completely unfamiliar with image compression techniques.
