   💩 post aside, since "the autistic spectrum" came into memedom, do you guys ever see parents who don't seem to give a hoot when some of their kids act like turds? I'm not denying that autism exists, but I definitely know more than one person who uses their kid's "autism" as a crutch for their parenting skills. I'm talking about a kid who is "on the spectrum" but you'd never know it if you weren't told and their parents let them get away with acting like a little jackass. Bonus points if they have other kids who are also poorly behaved but not autistic. I have kids and I know that sometimes one kid needs A LOT more attention than others, and it gets exhausting. Am I being an ass here, or is there some truth to this?

     @BowsacNoodle no theres 100% truth to this. the same kids who had raging victim complexes as kids and/or were lazy and grew up to reproduce make excuses for their shithead kids. combine that with the social stigma against corporal punishment of children (who 100% need it at times) and the catmom tactic of coddling kids with shitty behavior and you get this bs we live with today.

     @Jewpacabra I just don't know why we should have to accept that as an answer. Is it a guilt thing?

     your kid just sucker punched a kid for zero reason and you didn't do ANYTHING other than remove him from the situation and take on a slightly annoyed tone with a weak scolding. My kid is now instructed to hit back if your kid does that to him, because you showed that he never gets pushback for his shitty behavior.

     @BowsacNoodle @Jewpacabra Really tho some kids are just assholes and the only way to learn to get along is to get punched back. And chances are if a kid is aggressive like that, his parents will already be expecting trouble when they come to the playground.

     @monsterislandcolonizer @Jewpacabra One of the worst things about zero tolerance is it kneecaps behavior modulation methods that actually work for small people with brains that don't really grasp cause and effect yet. The old hot stove burn thing but for kids being jerks towards other kids.
