   I had to chase off a pair of rabbits who’d just started digging a nest in a spot that was really bad for the plants, the house, and them — and yeah, it feels crummy! “Now I have to destroy what you made because of complicated human constraints I can’t explain to you.” At least I caught it before there were any rabbit babies in the picture.

     Does anyone else feel bad when an overly ambitious little spider starts to build an impressive web somewhere they shouldn't, and you have to tear it all down? 🕷️

     Most wasps are lovely. But yellowjackets are just nasty little jerkfaces.

     Bees are also fantastic pollinators and honey producers! They’re wonderful.

     The wasps and I are constantly at war though. They love building those damn nasty nests everywhere. Two Yellowjacket stings over the past three years. Little bastards.

     @mekkaokereke i’ve been trying to do more to negotiate between the needs of critters and my squeamish daughters. i try my best to relocate bees, wasps and spiders without killing them

     Spiders yes! Bees yes, especially from pools! Wasps... I'm trying to get there. 🤷🏿♂️

     Bees don't want to sting me! Because they're nice, friendly little fuzzies!♥️ Wasps want to sting me. Because fundamentally, they are armored, vindictive, mean like tanks of a creature, and they don't like me*. If my rescue mission goes wrong, that wasp will get active and light up my whole face.

     (*Don't ask me to explain any of this. I have been stung by bees. I have never been stung by a wasp.🤷🏿♂️)

     @mekkaokereke a spider built an elaborate multi-level web over the mouth of our trash can for yard waste and now I can’t use it. The resourceful little guy even has a little puddle in the bottom that may breeding mosquitoes which might make them some sort of mosquito rancher…
