   I'd much rather have a #wfh guy that fucks around 3 hours a day playing WoW on company time but gets real shit done on the regular versus a guy that grinds his eyeballs out and requires a laundry list of revisions to have even the most basic #code promoted to prod

   Moreover - Coding burnout is real, especially at the highest levels when a coder has zero passion for the project.

   Too many companies still have a unrealistic belief that #coding is a "plug and play" assembly line.

     @multiverseofbadness what externally looks like me procrastinating, fucking about, watching a YT video or making a fuss of the cat is me working.

     Me typing on a keyboard is the very last step in the process of me working.

     @digitalstefan @multiverseofbadness irritating that brain keeps working as you sleep and wakes you up at 02:00 in the night with an "eureka" moment!

     Not that sad been retired for 6 years. Clueless management, ridiculous time frames and outsourced resources, was rather onerous.
