> Highways can seem scary for new drivers because of the number of vehicles on the road and the speed they're travelling.

I like the way they say "this is probably scary" then don't try to dissuade that view. The highway is scary! Do you know how much kinetic energy a 2500kg lump of metal travelling at 110 has?

I don't find driving on highways scary, as the lanes are wide, there's multiple of them and there is plenty of space on the side in case I need to stop.
I find the lunatics who can't drive on highways scary - but I just steer around them no matter what they try.

@Suiseiseki @izaya The first time I've driven was on the freeway at 90km/h and that was easy. The second time, I charged my friend's car up the curb trying to take a turn in my neighbourhood.

I drove backwards on the freeway once. Car spun entering in the rain. I put it in reverse, flipped it back around, and then put it in drive. I was actually impressed by my own reflexes. Total transporter moment.
