   @FortyTwo my wife and my daughter both complain about me turning it up too loud. I turn it up so I can hear the dialogue and I always find it confusing that they aren't having trouble understanding what is going on. Turns out the truth is they simply don't care what is going on. Pause the movie and ask them the plot, they will just stare at you blankly. I have a suspicion this might be the case with all women.

     @ned they will also, after watching the exact same amount of the movie as you, pepper you with questions such as, "why'd he do that?", "doesn't she know he's hiding behind the curtains?", etc.

     Guys... torrent it and use vlc and use the built in recompressor and leveler ;)

     I had to use vlc while learning English decades ago. Fucking FOX did mix 24 like savages.
